Perform maintenance, repairs, and installations under the direction of the Facilities Manager. • Diagnose, estimate repair time, and perform repairs to primary production machine equipment, secondary equipment (including but not limited to parts washing machines, pumps, motors, hydraulics, air lines and conveyors).

• Perform preventive maintenance per facility standard operating procedure.

• Assist in the relocation of production presses when necessary.

• Perform tasks associated with any upgrades to existing equipment and production machines.

• Make general repairs to the facility including, but not limited to, plumbing, piping, air lines, floor patching/painting and carpentry work.

• Operate machine tool equipment such as drills, grinders, lathes, welder, and sheet metal break.

• Operate forklift equipment to assist in machine repair.

• Work from blueprints, spec sheets and any available documentation associated with the task.

• Keep/maintain records of work performed in accordance with facility standard operating procedures. Fill out and complete repair requisition forms.

• Follow all procedures as outlined in the ITW Drawform Quality System.

• Follow all safety and environmental policies and procedures of ITW Drawform.

Qualifications:

• Experience operating Bridgeport lathes, drill presses and grinders, preferred

• Working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulic systems; ability to diagnose and repair breakdown of equipment.

• Ability to analyze and set up new systems stated above.

• Knowledge and skill to analyze problems and properly repair with the most economical method.

• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.

• High School diploma, GED required.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
