  • Operate two or more machines that produce drawn metal, stamped and formed products. 
  • Operate associated pressroom equipment such as the decolier, etc.
  • Use material handling equipment to move raw material, finished goods and supplies.
  • Perform quality checks as per control plans to produce defect free products
  • Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet specifications and dimensions.
  • Keep production machines properly lubricated and perform normal maintenance of equipment.
  • Keep coolant at proper operating levels in machines.
  • Accurately keep required records for each job running, including routing cards, production slips, charts, etc.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of scrap handling procedure.
  • Perform regular checks of the production area to ensure compliance with 5S standards
  • Follow all procedures as outlined in the Quality System.
  • Follow all safety and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or directed.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma, GED required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Pallet jack or similar equipment experience preferred.
  • Able to read and understand routing cards and blueprints  preferred.
  • Basic mathematics skills (decimal system, SPC) preferred.
  • Ability to use gauges and micrometers preferred.
