VP of Sales, Pharmacy Automation

In this role, the VP of Sales is fully responsible for the commercial function of both RxSafe and Eyecon brands.  This role will create and set the sales strategy to deliver the Annual and Long-Range Plan growth.  You will be providing regular guidance, mentoring, and coaching support to the sales team to maximize sales opportunities and increase the skill sets of the team. You will also be comfortable traveling with the sales team regularly and offering support in closing deals.  In this role, you will be part of the Senior Management team and will be working cross-collaboratively with other key functions.     

What you will do:

Strategy:

  • Prioritize Growth in National accounts by developing chain pharmacy, institutional long-term care and mail-order pharmacy relationships.
  • Develop and execute a Sales Strategy to maximize the growth of Eyecon and RxSafe products in the Independent, Retail, Hospital and Health System, and Institutional LTC & Mail Order pharmacies.
  • Have the ability to consult on Pharmacy Workflows, highlighting how Eyecon and RxSafe products can be used for process improvements, as well as identifying system solution selling opportunities.

Talent Management:

  • Lead the team to meet and exceed annual commercial targets by providing Sales Leadership to the combined RxSafe and Eyecon Sales teams, this will be achieved through regular one-to-one meetings with team members, reviewing sales pipelines and future sales opportunities.  You will hold the team members accountable to individual sales targets, providing support and tools to the employees.
  • Develop the sales team through effective talent management, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and development plans.

Marketing/ Business Support:

  • Support the Business Unit Manager with market research, including industry trends and future growth opportunities, this would also include helping to build up the annual and long-range plans.
  • Understand the value proposition for all the different products and effectively communicate this to customers through sales proposals and customer presentations.
  • Develop pricing strategies for all products to support the annual revenue growth and expected margins.
  • Working with the Marketing department to help maximize sales at all tradeshows and be present at all tradeshows as and when required.  Taking a proactive approach and leading from the front once in attendance. 

Sales Operations:

  • Help to lead the Salesforce implementation for the commercial function and help to drive accountability throughout the sales team.  You will also regularly review the order entry process for quality and accuracy, providing feedback to individuals as and when required.    
  • Comply with all ITW and Local Policies
  • Any other duties deemed appropriate for the role and job grade. 

Salary Range $170,000 - $200,000/year, plus commission

Qualifications:

  • Someone with an appetite to win and who can create a healthy competitive environment within the sales team.  
  • Someone with 8+ years’ experience in managing and developing remote sales teams and have a proven ability to develop sales strategies and achievement of desired results coupled with strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate the team.  
  • Someone with experience in selling durable medical equipment, pharmacy automation, or large-scale equipment. (Pharmacy automation experience preferred.)
  • You will have the ability to build strong relationships and adapt your leadership style to focus on various personalities within the team.
  • Excellent communication skills including negotiation and closing techniques.
  • Proven track record of hitting sales targets.
  • Be organized and efficient using CRM systems to enhance the sales process- (Hubspot/ Salesforce preferred).
  • Able to build rapport quickly and has strong interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented
  • A valid driver’s license and travel required, may include overnight stays.
