Summary:

In the Accounting Manager role, you will provide financial expertise and support to deliver accurate, timely, and efficient reporting of RxSafe financial accounting and reporting requirements in line with ITW Financial Policy. You will support the Divisional Controller to deliver process improvements and efficiencies while assisting with regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis.   

What You Will Do

  • Be the main financial point of contact for the RxSafe Business.
  • Ensure that equipment sales agreements, service contracts, and consumable revenues are accurately recorded and invoiced.
  • Daily incoming cash allocation and preparation of monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Management of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes and controls including supervisory responsibility for an Accounts Payable employee.
  • Review, calculation, and payment of Sales Commissions in line with agreed Incentive Schemes.
  • Control the process of creating the trial balance, income statement, and balance sheet.
  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end reporting in line with ITW Financial Policies.
  • Assist with routine management accounting requirements, including forecasting, budgeting, and ad hoc analysis requirements.
  • Inventory and Cost accounting to include involvement and review of physical inventory counts, monitoring of inventory levels, and calculation and review of inventory provisions.
  • Provision of required information requested by internal and external audit teams.
  • Work with Divisional Controller to review financial accounting processes to facilitate efficiency improvements and ensure that ITW Financial Policies and local state requirements are adhered to.
  • Any other duties deemed appropriate within the scope of the role and in line with skills and experience.
  • Salary Range $85K - $95K/year.

Qualifications:

Desired Skills, Attributes and Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar-level role.
  • Someone who is pro-active and comfortable working autonomously.
  • Prior experience of financial accounting process improvements.
  • Able to communicate at various levels.
  • Prior knowledge and experience of Quick Books preferred.
