Summary:

The Warehouse Distribution Clerk will be responsible for receiving, storing and distributing materials, tools, equipment and products within the department, ensuring accuracy and timelines of customer orders.  Must have forklift operation experience.  An energetic professional who will spend 100% in the manufacturing and warehouse environment.

Incumbent will be based in Tucker, GA location and report to the Shipping Supervisor.

Primary Responsibilities:

·         Unloads trucks, verifies merchandise, matches purchase orders to sales orders and distributing orders to sales associates for processing.

·         Completes customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions in determining which items to move, gather or distribute/ship.

·         Handles and moves materials from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas.

·         Sort and places materials on racks, pallets, shelves or bins accordingly.

·         Completes requisitions, work orders and requests for materials, tools or other stock items.  Distributes items as deemed necessary.

·         Ensure safety rules are followed and conducts periodic checks of forklifts.

·         Completes customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets.  Relocates orders accordingly.

·         Participates in physical inventory

·         Perform other duties as assigned

Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Forklift certification and experience with sit down, stand-up lifts and pallet jacks.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).  Navision experience helpful.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently in a high demanding work environment.
• Ability to communicate in oral and written format with high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Must work well with all levels of the organization in a team environment.
• Effectively prioritize daily work flow with a professional work ethic.
• Ability to take direction and make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment. Strong sense of urgency and true commitment to employees and customers.
