Summary:
This position is responsible for work of considerable difficulty in the repair and maintenance of daily equipment set-up and malfunctions to ensure maximum output efficiencies on all aerosol lines.
Duties:
1. Responsible and reviews each production aerosol line operation job run that includes set up, changeovers, troubleshooting and other applicable line operation procedures to ensure optimal productivity levels are maintained.
2. Responsible for daily diagnostics, testing, inspections, and preventive maintenance of all aerosol lines.
3. May assemble training materials to ensure functionality and understanding of aerosol line operations.
4. Prepares written reports as necessary on status of improvements and/or developments of processes.
5. Reviews and troubleshoots aerosol lines to identify solutions of processing problems and defects to meet customer demands.
6. Maintain machines in proper operation to include verifying set-up parameters, condition of machine, while minimizing downtime.
7. Periodically checks aerosol lines on machine cycle time, quality of products being processed, and overall consistency of process.
8. Reviews and checks periodically the operational function of the aerosol line operations ensuring products are running at efficient standards.
9. Assists other production line operators on start-up and stops line process due to any quality concerns.
10. Reports troubleshooting of aerosol line processing problems and defects to Group Lead and Production Manager.
11. Provides recommendations to Group Lead and Production Manager on areas of improvements to aerosol line operations.
12. Ensures good manufacturing practices are met on good housekeeping procedures before and after every shift.
13. Ensures good safety practices are met on all aerosol line operations.
14. Assists aerosol line operators on minor preventive maintenance activities.
15. Participates in any additional training programs such as cross-training methods on production lines as required.
16. To know and be familiar with procedures furnished pertaining to the handling of hazardous chemicals used in the production area.
17. Follow documented procedures and practices that will contribute to an efficient, productive and profitable operation.
18. Follow and support all company policies and procedures, with special attention to attendance and all quality/safety programs.
19. To advise and report to Production Manager, Safety Supervisor, human resources or any member of management of any safety equipment malfunctions, workplace hazards, safety violations, etc.
20. Act in accordance with all company policies and procedures.
21. Follows the 80/20 philosophy in prioritizing daily tasks and serves as a contributing member of the Operations team.
22. Professional represents company in a number of diverse setting including active participation in training, safety, team meetings and other related manufacturing regulations.

24. Supports safety and OSHA regulations and requirements.
25. Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
· Minimum five years related experience and/or training of set-up and training technician experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Operating pneumatic machines experience, preferred.
· Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite software (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
· Ability to compute basic math to perform the role.
· Understanding of OSHA requirements (i.e. Lockout/Tagout, Forklift).
· Possess advanced mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot machines and perform repairs when needed.
