We are presently seeking candidates for a Distribution Material Handler the Distribution Department reporting to Nicole Shorter, GTR Distribution Supervisor.  Hours will be 7:00am – 3:00pm, Monday through Friday. We currently have 3 open positions. The Distribution Picker facilitates the movement of goods throughout the warehouse: processing customer orders, inventory control, receiving and.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Pick and pack Distribution Orders
  • Processing shipping paperwork and labels
  • Analyze Amazon label requirements per paperwork/pick ticket
  • Cycle counting when required
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks & hand trucks
  • Maintain safe, clean organized work environment
  • Continuous education
  • Follow and promote all Safety Policies
  • Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Position Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Forklift Certified on Sit Down and Stand Up forklifts.
  • Three to five years related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Read and write English clearly
  • Forklift experience
  • Employee must work well under pressure while meeting multiple tasks or competing deadlines.
  • Teamwork, encouragement and support for all departments is a requirement of the position.
  • Cleanliness and organization are also a requirement for the position.
  •  Work within warehouse management software
  • Work within Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and on-line communication systems
  • Able to work independently, be dependable and adapt to changes in systems and procedures.
  • Should be a highly motivated individual
