    Orbitalum North America is currently looking for a new Customer Support Center Technician, in its new Phoenix, AZ facility. This dynamic person will be expected to perform a variety of operations involving equipment breakdown, evaluation, and re-assembly for customer machines and rental fleet equipment, component replacement, rental, spare parts, and new product inventory management, shipping/receiving and computer related tasks for our specialized welding and machining products.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Perform computer related tasks such as order entry, inventory transactions, and shipping paperwork
    • Responsible for rental repairs including installing replacement parts to rebuild rental  equipment
    • Responsible for customer owned equipment repairs, including installing diagnosing failures, and replacing parts to factory specification, validated through standardized testing
    • Maintain rental facility, inventory, and the equipment needed to test machines
    • Log equipment in and out of the system based on customer info provided
    • Able to complete repair estimates for customer-owned equipment
    • Communicate with the sales team to understand customer requirements
    • Keep area clean and perform all duties in a safe effective and efficient manner
    • Additional duties and tasks as assigned

    Qualifications:

    • HS diploma, GED and/or 1 year of relevant experience
    • Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
    • Aptitude with various power tools preferred.
    • Ability to communicate with others and problem-solve as necessary
    • Good communication skills
    • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
    • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
    • Ability to work independently
    • Basic computer skills/knowledge of Word and Excel computer programs
    • Advanced knowledge of mechanical and electrical components
