The Mechanical Engineer Summer Intern program at ITW Valeron Strength Films is designed to give students the hands-on exposure to daily engineering operations, projects and research that impacts Product Development, Manufacturing, and Quality. ITW Valeron is looking for a self-directed, results-oriented and customer focused individual to work on production, research, and quality. This position is based in our manufacturing site in Houston, TX.

  • Work in close collaboration with the Site Management Team
  • Assist with the implementation of manufacturing improvements and projects
  • Document and reorganize engineering drawings for plant equipment and machinery
  • Develop new engineer drawings as required
  • Analysis of Production Data.
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Junior or Senior year pursuing an Engineering Degree 
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and technical knowledge
  • Proactive in recognizing improvement opportunities are necessary
  • Solid modeling and drafting skills.
  • Intellectually curious with a driving interest in technology
