Dynamic Systems Product and Marketing Manager

This position is located at our European headquarters in High Wycombe, UK.

The Product and Marketing Manager’s responsibility is to drive the entire vision and delivery of new products, executing the innovation roadmap and life cycle management of existing products, in order to keep the organization relevant and competitive.

This involves conducting market research and customer research, roadmap planning, prioritization, execution and finally, coordinating go-to-market strategies when launching a new product or feature.

Key to success in this role is with engaging stakeholders in all areas of the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • To set the long-term vision and strategy for Dynamic Systems product lines, taking overall responsibility for the success of the products
  • Gaining a deep understanding of markets and customer applications
  • Understands customers’ needs and pain points through research and market data
  • Researching competitors and similar products.
  • Assess competition by comparing products and develop positioning strategies.
  • Identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and externally, in all areas of the organization.
  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding.
  • Produce high-level product requirements, iterating with Sales, customers and engineering teams.
  • Create roadmaps for developing the product and agree timelines with other departments.
  • Coordinates activities with various functions such as Manufacturing and Research & Development, by engaging the leadership team with a shared vision of future success.
  • Determine product pricing based on market research, anticipated demand and production costs.
  • Coordinate go-to-market strategies when launching a new product or feature and is responsible for managing and implementing marketing activities through the entire life cycle of the product.
  • Providing support and training, in person and through the team, to Sales Organization and Sales Specialists worldwide, on products configuration and products applications.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred, though candidates with relevant experience who hold other degrees/relevant qualifications will be considered.
  • Proven work experience in a product management role for three years as a minimum, in industrial machines/instrumentations environments.
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle, working with designers, engineers, and various stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
  • Broad understanding and familiarity with material testing equipment will be very valuable for this position.
