This position is within ITW’s Specialty division. ITW Medical manufactures and sells components and finished devices for use in the medical imaging, filtration, infusion, and minimally invasive applications. ITW Medical is comprised of three strong medical product brands – Coeur, Filtertek & Precise – situated to proactively meet the needs of customers in the marketplace. This position will be a resource for the Filtertek side of the division. The Filtertek product line is comprised of custom plastic insert molded filtration and flow control components for global OEM medical device customers. Our expertise in screen processing and screen over molding technology make ITW Medical a primary choice in the market.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Business Unit Coordinator has full responsibility for the dispenser coils P&L statement and acts as the primary point of contact for customer for all matters, develops and manages all KPI’s and CFMs for the dispenser coil business.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manages all suppliers related to the Dispenser Coil Business; Drives Continuous Improvement and FTB initiatives.
Prepares and presents complex reports to the division, including the monthly P&L statement, sales forecast, production, inventory, etc.
Works with vendors/suppliers to analyze current spending and identify cost saving opportunities.
Manages customer inventory requirements, shipping requirements for consignment as well as make to order products.
Communicates customer forecast changes with sales and operations and maintains the customer forecast file.
Engages with customers to assess new business opportunities.
Key point of contact for contract manufacturers related to dispenser coil business, including processing complex orders and maintaining customer orders in the ERP system.
Works proactively with other departments to identify and resolve accounts receivables related issues including debits/credits
Executes all collection efforts that result in AR past due reduction to less than 1% monthly
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree highly preferred, combination of experience and education in lieu of degree considered
Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service role supporting a manufacturing or similar industry required
Previous work experience that includes inventory management and sales reporting preferred
Strong written/verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Proven ability to read and interpret sales contracts and purchase orders
Solid math and analytical skills
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and professionally interact with customers
Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Proficiency in inventory/order management systems is a plus
