We are currently looking for a HR Manager to support the ITW Electrostatics Division reporting directly to the HR Director.   This position is very hands on.  It is tactical in nature but has strategic opportunities. 

This role will be the primary HR POC providing day to day professional HR support and policy administration for the Hatfield location but will also have HR oversight for 5 other US businesses CA x2, ME, OH, WI.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for all non-exempt and non-management exempt positions.
  • Lead projects and processes regarding employee engagement, performance management, safety and departmental process improvements.
  • Address employee relations concerns and provide coaching and support to managers as required.
  • Develop and conduct training such as Harassment-Free Workplace, Performance Management, D&I and Interviewing and Selection.
  • Manage employee communication relative to Open Enrollment, Wellness and other initiatives.
  • Conduct employee orientations and manage all new hire paperwork, workers compensation claims and leaves of absence.  
  • Lead or support employee committees such as Social Committee, Safety Committee and Wellness Committee.
  • Assist with payroll tasks and provide monthly and quarterly reports to support HR and accounting relative to employment changes, vacation accrual, and headcount.
  • Answer routine employee questions and inquiries related to wellness, benefits, and payroll; as well as manage all FMLA, STD, ADA and Worker’s Compensation cases.
  • Manage all employee data within HRIS system
  • Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance, i.e AAP, OSHA.
  • Additional duties and tasks as assigned.

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required in human resources or HR certification such as SPHR or SHRM-SCP.
  • HR experience within a manufacturing or other similar environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate up, down and across the organization.
  • Basic understanding of legal requirements relative to recruiting, records retention, ADA, FMLA and other standard HR procedures.  
  • Proven ability to manage team projects and achieve desired results on time and within budget.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Workday HRIS and Ceridian Dayforce a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% required.
