This position is responsible for making parts with manual milling and lathe equipment. Responsibilities will include set-ups and QC of all parts produced.
- Receive orders / blue prints to make parts
- Take orders to saw to cut material for orders
- Take material to manual machine and run parts
- QC - Inspect parts (may include blueprint reading, visual inspections, basic measuring with calipers and tape measures)
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 0 to 3 years’ experience in machining parts or Machine Tool Technology Degree
- Basic use of calipers and tape measure
- Experience of manual equipment and saw cutting
- Experience working in manufacturing environment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Strong attention to detail
