We are currently recruiting motivated team players to join our Warehouse Department on 2nd shift. ITW CIP is a fast growing, fast paced company that obtains a safety driven culture with excellent benefits and competitive wages.
Located approximately 25 miles northeast of Nashville, TN. California Industrial Products (CIP) is a $100M business unit in ITW’s Automotive segment. CIP specializes in the design and manufacturing of stamped fasteners and related products. ITW CIP fasteners can be found on vehicle platforms around the world securing fenders, bumpers, chassis assemblies, doors, interior components and much more.
Shipping/Receiving: Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Shipping product
· Receiving product
· Order pulling
· Putting inventory away
· Labeling product
· Cycle counting
· Operating pack lines-both manual and automated
· Sending ASN’s
· Order entry
· Creating Bill of Ladings
· Creating Custom Paperwork
· Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Performance of this job requires physical dexterity, Hi-Lo certification (both sit down and reach fork), and the ability to follow instructions. They will need to be familiar with all related work instructions and have a high regard for detail. They will need to be familiar with the use of bar-coding equipment. Knowledge of basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division). Knowledge of Future Three and Spede software is a plus. Ability to exhibit proper lifting techniques at all times, show willingness to work as a team in accomplishing tasks. General computer knowledge is required. They must be able to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a timely manner. Personnel must be able to communicate with all levels within the company ranging from customers and management. Performance to comply with all company Procedures, Policies, Work Instructions, knowledge of internal and external requirements as well as TS16949 requirements.
From time to time, personnel may be assigned others duties for the purpose of training, additional assistance or for other reasons as deemed necessary by management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); two to three years related experience required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
