We are currently seeking a Production Operator within our Chemical department to be based in our DeWitt, IA facility! Regular hours are;

  • Monday to Thursday: 6:30AM to 4:00PM
  • Friday 6:30AM to 10:30AM
  • Overtime may be required. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and established manufacturing facility with a safety centered approach. Training and ongoing development will be provided. In the role of Production Operator you will form part of a team, maintain high housekeeping standards and play an important part of serving our customers with excellence. 

We are open to hearing from part time, as well as full time candidates. 

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare production process for operation by making equipment adjustments; assisting with equipment changeovers.
  • Maintain production line operation by solving production process problems; reporting production and quality data to appropriate personnel. 
  • Maintain production operations by following policies and procedures (equipment, raw and in-process materials, and finished goods); report needed changes.
  • Print various information, including but not limited to:  labels for product and shop orders for batch making.
  • Assemble raw products for batch making, blend products, prepare containers for finished product, fill and package finished goods.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Manufacturing experience essential.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 55 lbs.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and individually.
  • Good level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow mangement requests and communicate effectivly.
