The Machine Technician reports to the Maintenance Supervisor

Sign on Bonus:

Eligible for $3,000 Sign on Bonus. Paid $1,000 after the first 30 days of employment, $1000 after 60 days, and another $1000 after the first 90 days of employment

  • Must have electrical experience working within manufacturing or industrial industries
  • Works from blueprints, schematics, and specifications. Troubleshoots dismantles, analyzes, determines defects, diagnoses trouble, and performs repairs to large production machines, such as plastic injection mold machines and automatic equipment. Replaces pumps, motors, relays, switch motors, etc. Installs and maintains machine safety devices and shields.
  • Experience working with the following: PLC’s, hydraulics, injection molding machine repairs, and Automated Assembly equipment.
  • Installs, repairs, maintains and rebuilds various large complicated production machines, attachments, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Facility Responsibilities-Working knowledge of plant supporting equipment and building systems. HVAC, Compressors, Cooling water systems, and /fire protection systems
  • Establish working relationships with contractors as required
  • Maintain records and documentation related to safety, testing, reporting, and inspections
  • Good communication skills are a must. Both verbal and email. Must be able to positively communicate equipment challenges and/or improvements for equipment and facility to interested parties.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Automated Assembly Equipment
  • Injection Molding Experience a plus
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs sometimes repetitively.
  • Experience with ISO9001 requirements.

Specific vision requirements for this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • During the performance of his/her work duties, the incumbent will be required to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and will frequently lift up to 25 pounds such as moving parts from material storage and moving parts in and out of work area.
