ITW Construction Products UK/Nordics is a division of ITW within in the Construction Products segment. As a division our annual revenue exceeds $200m, with ~450 people across 8 countries. We are suppliers of innovative engineered fastening systems and related consumables and software. These products are uniquely specified for a variety of materials, including wood, concrete and steel.

The Role of Key Account Manager – Digital Accounts requires a creative and commercially astute individual to continue the journey towards full potential with our key “80” Distribution Partners across Wood Nailing and Concrete Business Units. Responsibility includes developing strong customer relationships across the many layers of our key “80” Distribution Partners’ businesses, creating Strategic Business Plans to further increase market share and brand engagement.

This will involve a deep understanding of both theirs and ITW’s strategic vision and short / medium term ambitions. Collaborating closely with the wider Segment and Marketing teams, Logistics and Customer Services to maximise opportunities for process simplification and profitable growth through jointly agreed Strategic Plans.

Primary responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Achieve sales growth and net revenue targets, adopting an Aggressive Growth Mindset.
  • Identify opportunities and develop Strategic Action Plans for profitable growth, collaborating with Segment and Marketing teams.
  • Focusing on the “80” working with Logistics and Customer Services to identify opportunities for and delivering simplification.
  • Regular analysis of internal and external sales in/out data sources to understand and communicate key market insights.
  • Develop multi-level customer relationships and provide an excellent customer experience.
  • Arrange and/or attend specific company networking events and/or trade shows which will include evenings and weekends from time to time
  • Keep safe and look out for colleagues physical & mental well being
  • Report any incidents, accidents or near misses and any other Health and Safety issue that may be relevant in yours or the work environment.

Qualifications:

  • A good standard of education.
  • Experience of sales preferably within the fixings or power tool sector.
  • Highly self-motivated.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
  • Flexibility to travel nationally
  • A full driving Licence
