This key position has split responsibilities between both our laboratory and production floor depending on the priorities set for each day. This person will primarily be responsible for Test Block calibration and customer order processing completed within a laboratory environment. 

This role requires daily use of a computer with data entry responsibilities.  All training to be successful in this role will be provided.

  • Operate lab equipment and computer to calibrate multiple Test Blocks and ensure product meets certain specifications
  • Stock and package finished Test Blocks using established procedures and work instructions
  • Perform visual inspection of Test Blocks ensuring established quality standards
  • Readily identify quality deficiencies and informs Supervisor
  • Ensure proper paperwork, and documents are maintained according to the Department's work instructions
  • Use quality control devices such as micrometer
  • Other production related tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Proficient utilizing a computer and entering data
  • Good math aptitude normally acquired through a High School education
  • Solid experience & knowledge working with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Experience working with other members on a team in a production environment
  • Strong attention to detail regarding inspection of components and assembly of machines
  • Ability to do accurate calibrations using precision testing equipment
  • Ability to understand and follow departmental procedures
  • Ability to give written and verbal instructions which augment and clarify drawings and specifications
  • Basic understanding of required quality control devices such as a micrometer
  • Ability to lift small packages between 5lb to 40lb
  • Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
