ITW EU Regional AccountsDivision serves the Automotive OEM (Stellantis, Renault-Nissan, Volvo and JLR) and their tier suppliers with plastic fasteners totaling approximately $200M in revenues, 500 people.  Units include:  Beauchamp and Ingwiller, FR; Hone, IT; Basingstoke, UK and Bredaryd, SE.

Strategy & Goals

Our strategy is focused on organic growth. In order to achieve our ambitious targets, we have put in place a new Strategic Marketing Organization and are growing our Sales & Engineering teams to prepare for future opportunities. In this context, we are opening a Commercial HR Business Partner role dedicated to our commercial organization and are looking to hire a passionate HR professional to drive HR excellence and add value to our teams.


THE POSITION

Position Title:      Commercial HR Business Partner

Location:              Remote

Reports to:          Division HR Director

Main Focus and Challenges:

In this international position, the HR Business Partner (HRBP) is a crucial partner for all commercial leaders of the Division (Sales & Engineering, Innovation and Strategic Marketing). The incumbent of the position is accountable for leading the complete employee life-cycle and acts as a strategic partner for all relevant stakeholders. The HRBP provides added-value with modern HR generalist experience and proactive advice to support the Commercial Leadership Management and their teams. The incumbent is pro-actively supporting the growth of our business. He/ She is responsible for defining, developing and implementing human resources initiatives within the business that helps levering the ambitious growth goals of the enterprise. The HRBP drives modern Talent Acquisition and People Development initiatives across the area of responsibility.

In addition to the Commercial perimeter, the Commercial HRBP also supports the Division HRD with HR development in locations without local HR Manager.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as a HR Business Partner to all Commercial Functions of the Division across 4 geographies, 5 locations
  • Senior HR advisor, consultant and coach for the leadership team
  • Leads the whole “employee-life-cycle” for all commercial employees
  • Drives Divisional-wide Talent Acquisition activities for Commercial Team
  • Leads yearly Compensation and Benefit cycle
  • Leads Sales Excellence initiatives and Talent development initiatives for all Commercial employees
  • Leads all HR related issues internally and externally in coordination with local HR Manager and administrative team (legal matters, payroll, contract management, external consultants and Trainers)
  • Acting as liaison on strategic HR matters between the Location, Division and Corporate Commercial functions
  • Works closely together with the Marketing team to drive Employer Branding initiatives
  • Brings creative outside-in perspective of modern HR tools (New Work, Agility, Modern Leadership, Employer Branding) to inspire commercial activities
  • Drives culture of Diversity and Inclusion
  • Drives specific HR-related projects

Qualifications:

THE PERSON - IDEAL PROFIL

Qualifications

  • B.S. / B.A. degree in Management, HR, legal or social sciences required or combination of business experience and education. MBA and/or additional coursework is a plus.
  • Working proficiency in English is a must. French/Italian as preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 – 7 years of experience as progressive HR Business Partner with generalist experience.
  • Ability to work autonomously with a strategic view on the area of own responsibility, but very hands-on where needed.
  • Automotive or Industrial specific knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with Sales / Commercial Organization is a plus.
