BASIC DESCRIPTION:
This position will be a key technical position to assist engineering in the development and support of new and current products with engine driven welding systems
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Duties include, but not limited to:
•Perform all engineering tests including V-A curves, heat tests, reliability, and third party.
•Work closely with Miller's Third-Party Certification Coordinator to construct, revise, and
keep current third-party reports such as CSA, CE, CCC.
•Ability to diagnose and correct issues arising in units from production builds, lab and
reliability tests are required.
•Identify, communicate, and resolve production line product issues.
•Occasionally manage small projects.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
•2-year technical degree in electronics, electro-mechanical or related field.
•Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams and the ability to repair circuit boards
to the component level is required.
•Proficient mechanic skills
•Candidate must be a team player with a positive attitude, high motivation and excellent
interpersonal skills who works well in a business unit team environment with minimum
supervision.
•Good understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, Omnify and Macola
•Ability to write accurate and concise reports is required.
•Limited travel may be required.
