Miller Electric, an ITW company, has an exciting opportunity for a driven Senior Sales Analyst to join our talented team! Since our inception in 1929 in Appleton, WI we’ve been a trusted leader in the manufacturing of welding equipment and accessories. In 1993, we were purchased by ITW, making us part of a $15 billion-dollar global organization.

As a key member of the Business Intelligence and Analytics team, the Senior Sales Analyst will partner with cross functional teams across Sales, Marketing, and the Manufacturing Divisions to help the organization understand and interpret information to leverage data driven insights.  A successful candidate will be a strategic team player who enjoys identifying new opportunities and developing data-driven solutions. 

KEY FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE:

·         Provide analysis and strategic guidance for our channel management approach

o   Analyze channel performance and provide policy and program recommendations

o   Evaluate channel program effectiveness, benchmark against other two-step B2B models, and influence channel program design

o   Work with Sales and Divisional Leadership to provide strategic guidance for our wholistic channel and pricing strategies

·         Own the sales team design and sales compensation program

o   Ensure access to up-to-date market sizing data

o   Manage the territory coverage and manager’s span of control models across N.A.

o   Oversee the sales compensation plan to ensure equity and impact 

o   Collaborate with Central Accounting to ensure accurate accruals

·         Analyze, interpret and socialize real-time sales & business trends throughout the organization

o   Develop tools and dashboards that provide market and customer insights

o   Enable the organizational user base with self-service capabilities to navigate business intelligence data and ability to translate data into meaningful actions

o   Communicate results and/or process changes to wide audience of team members

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU:

 

·         Bachelor’s degree in business administration or finance required, MBA preferred

·         Minimum of 5 years business or financial analysis experience

·         Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

·         Proficiency with Power BI or equivalent software

·         Outstanding written, oral and presentation skills

·         Proven track record of setting and accomplishing short- and long-term goals

·         Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across organizational lines
